How WishVast Will Make Money

We are not sure about our specific implementation strategy that we plan to use on the ground in Kenya. The three plans we are exploring are a supply chain/networking model, an ad hoc job model, and a microfinancing model.

The business team has made two models of growth for WishVast. One of the models is exponential, with 1,000,000 users at the next of 5 years. The other model is called positivism, where there are 150,000 users at the end of 5 years.  The business method is similar for both models. Users will pay two cents per text. This will help offset the cost of sending a text message. It will cost ten cents to check a user’s “trust” rate.  We hope that there are also advertising options available for WishVast. In both models, profit is made in the second year. We also break even during the third year; with breaking even meaning that the losses from the first year will be covered.  Posted below are the projected income statements for both models:

These models prove that WishVast can be profitable if the network grows at the stated rates. It will continue to be sustainable if the current payment structure is followed. The business team believes that payment structure shown in the two models is the best method to finance WishVast.
